After the recent snowfall we decided to make the most of this once in a blue moon opportunity and head to Christmas Common near Watlington for a sunrise session.....
It seemed pretty surreal to be contemplating snowboarding in our usual mountain bike stomping ground but none the less we headed out and not only found some decent snow but also amazingly a couple of little kickers someone had lovingly crafted!
It turned out to be a very atmospheric session.
Can't believe this is the south of England, this scene could pass for backcountry Canada!
Amazingly we weren't the only addicts looking for a rare home grown powder fix as we found when we bumped into another board junkie, Tom from Bracknell. Hope your morning went well mate, and I guess we'll all be keeping our fingers crossed for some more of this crazy weather.
